Small Modular Boilers, Optimization of total installed costs
The John Cockerill teams have installed 750 heat recovery steam generators around the world. This solid experience in projects allows us to better understand the constraints of construction on-site and to capitalize on the advantages linked to construction.
Steam generators installed behind gas turbines up to 100 MW are less than 4 meters wide, which allows them to be manufactured in one module wide and 1 to 3 modules deep. This small size is suitable for a fully modular construction of pressure parts.
These modules integrate the exchangers, manifolds, structures, casing, and insulation. They are completely prefabricated and tested in the workshops, then transported and assembled on site.
This minimizes on-site construction and allows us to meet the tightest deadlines, while rationalizing transportation costs
